Today the country celebrates the 75th anniversary of Constitution Day. In this regard, a Congress program was organized at Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium. Rahul Gandhi was talking about this program when suddenly his microphone went off. Over which the Congress leaders and workers started creating a ruckus. Rahul’s microphone remained off for a long time, when it was fixed, he said that no matter how many times you turn off the microphone, I will continue talking.

I will continue speaking – Rahul Gandhi

Rahul further said that the microphone of anyone who talks about Dalits and the backward is just like that switched off. No matter how many microphones you turn off, I’ll keep talking. During the programme, Rahul Gandhi again reiterated the demand for a caste census. He said none of the country’s leading industrialists are from Dalit, backward or tribal class.

to carry out caste census

Rahul said that we have recently started work related to caste census in Telangana. The issues raised here have been jointly decided by the Dalits, the backward and the poor of the State. That means the people of Telangana have designed the caste census format. This is a historic step. Wherever we have a government, we will conduct caste censuses following the same pattern.

‘The Prime Minister did not read the Constitution’

He also said that the Constitution shows the path of non-violence. The Constitution is a book of truth and non-violence. The Constitution does not allow violence. He said wherever our government comes, there we will conduct a caste census. If the proportion of backward classes is higher, why is their participation lower? He further said that I guarantee that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not read the book of the Constitution. The Constitution is not just a book, it is thousands of years of Indian thought. It contains the voices of great people like Gandhiji, Ambedkarji, Lord Buddha, Phuleji, but not the voice of Savarkarji.
