Although the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress are members of the Indian Alliance, it is not a well-kept secret that both have a number of thirty-six. Rather, it would be better to say that Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal has started seeing himself as a competitor to the Congress and Rahul Gandhi. From the kind of distance Arvind Kejriwal maintains from the Congress, it seems that he is desperate to see himself as an alternative to Rahul Gandhi. Kejriwal’s desperation is confirmed by reports of him working on a strategy to distance himself from the Congress. Now Arvind Kejriwal’s party says it will go to Maharashtra and Jharkhand to campaign for Indian Alliance parties, but will only be available to parties other than the Congress.

Obviously, by making such a proposal, he wants to make a place for himself as an opposition leader who has influence as a pan-India leader. Obviously, the only leader of this stature in the opposition is Rahul Gandhi. Incidentally, the pan-Indian appeal is also that of Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, etc. But the problem with these leaders is that they are trapped in their own state. Arvind Kejriwal has a lot of time and opportunities right now. Obviously, for this Kejriwal will first have to get rid of the Congress. As circumstances seem to evolve, she says news may come very soon that she will announce that she will not contest the elections with the Congress in Delhi.

1- There does not seem to be any association between them in the Delhi Assembly elections.

The way the situation seems to be emerging, it seems that there will be no organization between the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress in Delhi. For the last 10 years, no Congress MLA has made it to the Delhi Assembly. In such a situation, the Congress can claim that its roots are strong, but there are doubts whether the seat-sharing offer it will receive is respectable.
In Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party can make the same offer to Congress that it made in Haryana. This means that the Congress may be offered some unimportant losing seats in the Delhi Assembly elections. The kind of offer that the Congress had made to the Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana, TMC made a similar offer to the Congress during the Lok Sabha elections and the SP made to the Congress in the UP by-elections. In any case, the Congress hardly gets any partner in the Delhi Assembly elections.

Yes, one more thing is possible: Aam Aadmi Party can offer Congress candidates to contest elections on its symbol, like Akhilesh Yadav. But like in the UP by-elections, will the Congress remain silent in considering the AAP candidates in Delhi as Indian Alliance candidates? Obviously Congress will never accept this.

2- Campaign to marginalize Congress in states under the influence of the Indian Alliance.

Just as efforts are being made to marginalize the Congress in the Indian Alliance states, it is certain that such efforts will happen in Delhi too. Anyway, if Congress’s aim is to defeat the BJP, then it will have to take decisions blindly, without thinking about gains or losses. Because in every state where some congressional ally has come to power or dreams of coming to power, they want to keep them marginalized. Just look at Jammu and Kashmir. Only after the Indian alliance came to power were preparations made to sideline the Congress. Perhaps that is why the Congress did not consider it appropriate to join the Jammu and Kashmir cabinet. And he has promised to provide support from outside. Akhilesh Yadav is still far from power in Uttar Pradesh, but he does not want the Congress to establish its deep roots in UP. In West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee behaved with the Congress in a manner that the Congress can never forget. The Congress, which fared better in the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra, has been made clear by its allies by giving them the same number of seats. It is noteworthy that in Maharashtra MVA it has been decided that Congress, Shinde Sena and NCP will contest the elections with the same number of seats. Each has 85 seats.

In fact, whether it is Maharashtra, Delhi, UP or Bengal, the problem is the same everywhere. In every state, local parties made the central Congressional vote bank the base of their party. The Congress’s main voters have been minorities and Dalits. Today, the core vote of Samajwadi Party, Aam Aadmi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal, TMC, NCP etc. It is the same as that of Congress. Political analysts believe that all of them feel that if Congress returns, their core voters will return home. In such a situation, the politics of Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee and Akhilesh Yadav etc. will come to an end.

3- The Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are also protesting openly in Delhi.

It is just a matter of two weeks, Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said that we have decided to contest the Delhi Assembly elections alone. Kakkar said we are capable of fighting alone against an overconfident Congress and an arrogant BJP. The Congress has not had any seats in the Delhi Assembly for the last 10 years, despite this, the Aam Aadmi Party had given three seats to the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections, in fact, the way the Congress behaved Congress with the Aam Aadmi Party in the elections. Haryana Assembly Elections, India People from the alliance got the chance to speak. There were many such seats in Haryana where the votes received by the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party together could reduce the seats of the BJP.

On the defeat of the Congress in Haryana, Kejriwal had said: one should not get too confident. His jibe was aimed squarely at the Congress which had made the mistake of not bringing the Aam Aadmi Party to Haryana.
