Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department Minister Shyam Singh Rana on Tuesday inaugurated the dog rescue organization’s shelter near Agrasen Chowk Jagadhri by cutting the ribbon. The minister said that within the framework of the vaccination program, the anti-rabies vaccine is applied to prevent bites from stray dogs. To maintain the balance of nature, it is necessary to protect animals.
Cabinet Minister Shyam Singh Rana announced Rs 2 lakh for the shelter from the dog rescue organization and discussed with senior officials on the ground to build the shelter. He said that a dog rescue organization shelter is being run in Chandigarh. Along the same lines, a shelter will be built for a dog rescue organization in Yamunanagar.
Nakul Goyal, an official of the dog rescue organization, said it is our moral responsibility to take care of every animal, especially those who have no home or caretaker. Therefore, we must show up to help them. Due to the cold and dense fog, you cannot see anything around either day or night. During this time, many stray dogs also roam the roads, which can cause a serious accident. Keeping this in mind, today this campaign is being carried out to save homeless animals from unfortunate accidents. Additionally, every year many people lose their lives to these helpless and homeless animals. In addition to ordinary humans, we want the animals that live around us to be safe as well. He said that our organization has been working on breeding and treating destitute dogs since 2016.
