Streaming media has launched India’s first subscription-based TV operating system. It will bring a new revolution in the home entertainment segment of India. The smart TVs from the Micromax-backed startup will come with DorOS, where users will get subscription to over 300 live TV channels and 24 OTT apps including Amazon Prime Video, JioCinema, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, YouTube, Lionsgate Play. , Zee5, etc. are included. 24 OTT apps and 300+ channels

On the startup’s DorOS, users will have access to 24 OTT apps and over 300 digital TV channels. For this, the company has maintained a monthly subscription of Rs 799. This subscription-based TV OS will pose a challenge to Tata Play, Airtel Xstream TV, etc. This TV operating system includes AI-powered search feature, which will help users to easily choose the entertainment program of their choice.

4K OLED TV

Streambox has also launched the 4K QLED TV equipped with this operating system, which is available in 43 inches, 55 inches and 65 inches. Of these, the 43-inch model will be available for sale on e-commerce platform Flipkart from December 1, 2024. The other two models will be available for purchase starting next year. The company will charge Rs 10,799 for this. In this, there will be a one-time activation charge of Rs 9,999 for TV and a monthly subscription of Rs 799. Users will get a free subscription with TV for the first month. At the same time, users will be charged a monthly subscription of Rs 799 for the next 12 months. After this, users will be able to customize the plan as per their convenience.
