- Meeting organized in Bhiwani on preparations for 68th National Kabaddi Competition: Shiv Kumar Tanwar
(Bhiwani News) Bhiwani. A meeting for the successful organization of the 68th National Kabaddi Competition was organized at the local government Sanskriti Model Higher Secondary School on Tuesday. Bhiwani block education officer Shivkumar Tanwar chaired the meeting. District Education Officer Bhiwani Naresh Mehta was present as chief guest on this occasion.
Ample arrangements were made for accommodation, food and transportation for the teams coming from different states.
During the meeting, Naresh Mehta, addressing all the committee officials and service staff, said that it is a matter of great pride for the district that the national Kabaddi competition for boys and girls is being organized here. This competition will be held from December 7 to 11 at the Bhim Stadium. Ample arrangements have been made for accommodation, food and transportation for the teams coming from different states. In addition, special committees have been formed for verification of documents, weight category and creation of team identity cards. He reported that registration of the next teams will begin on December 6.
Separate arrangements have been made for the boys and girls teams. All teams must submit three sets of documents, which will be examined with the greatest caution. During the meeting, Block Education Officer Shivkumar Tanwar said that this event will give the entire India an opportunity to know and understand the culture of Bhiwani district. This competition will not only promote sports but will also become a means of cultural exchange. He directed all service personnel to carry out their respective responsibilities with full dedication and ensure all possible assistance to all teams.
