Freedom for research publications through open access publications: Dr. Mohit Garg

Two-day workshop on open access publishing organized at Avadh University

Ayodhya. Under the leadership of Avadh University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pratibha Goyal, under the joint auspices of Central Library and IIT Delhi, a two-day workshop on Open Access Publishing was inaugurated at the seminar hall of the Department of Physics and Electronics. The keynote speaker of the workshop was Dr. Mohit Garg from IIT Delhi. It was chaired by Dean of Science, Prof. SS Mishra.
Addressing the workshop, keynote speaker Dr. Mohit Garg said that open access publishing has received global recognition. In this, freedom is given to research publications. Apart from this, they also receive an open license. He said open access has helped research a lot. It is being used widely internationally. Open access publishing makes research-related information available for free.
Chairing the workshop, Dean of Science Professor SS Mishra said that the library is the center of knowledge. Nowadays, every researcher must keep up to date with new research technologies. Open access publishing will be useful in this regard. Program Coordinator Prof. Siddharth Shukla welcomed the guests and presented the outline of the two-day workshop. The program was directed by engineer Shambhavi Mudra Shukla. The vote of thanks to the guests was given by Prof. Keshav Singh of Gorakhpur University. Technical support was provided by Dr. Anurag Singh. At the scene Prof. KK Verma, Prof. Ganga Ram Mishra, Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav, Dr. Sindhu Singh, Dr. Shivi Srivastava, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava, Dr. Alka Mathur, Dr. Anil Kumar, Dr. Shiv Kumar , Dr. Sudhir Singh, Dr. Devesh Prakash , Dr. Ashwini, Dr. Sachin, Dr. Arvind Research scholars including Kumar were present Vajpayee and Dr. Mithilesh Tiwari.
