Ambedkar Nagar. The Constitution Day was organized at the Collective Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Avinash Singh in the presence of District Panchayat President Shyam Sundar Verma alias Sadhu Verma. Firstly, the District Panchayat President, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate and other officials/employees of the Collectorate paid homage to the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by garlanding it. The district magistrate said that November 26, 1949 was the most important day in the history of independent India. On this day the Constitution was completed and the Constitution of India was adopted, the Constitution of India was abolished and the Constitution of India was implemented. That is why Constitution Day is celebrated on November 26 and this day has been organized to encourage all officials and employees to promote a sense of respect among citizens towards constitutional values. The additional district magistrate read out the preamble of the Constitution to everyone.
