- Program organized at Universidad Central on the occasion of Constitution Day
(Dhamshala News) Today Samaj-Dharamshala. The drafters of the Constitution gave a special place to images representative of Indian culture and civilization. The basic soul of the Constitution lies in the images mentioned in the original copy of the Constitution. Without such images, Ambedkar’s Constitution cannot be properly understood.
Vice President of Haryana Sahitya and Academy of Culture, Lecturer at ‘Developed India: Constitutional Amritpath’ program organized at Central University on Tuesday on the occasion of Constitution Day. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri said this.
Sponsor of the program Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal is alive. The program was chaired by Academic Dean Prof. Pradeep Kumar did.
In this program organized by Ambedkar Study Center and Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar Study Centre, Prof. Agnihotri said that before India’s independence, the British said that Indians were not capable of preparing their own constitution, but when the Indian experts, with their high intellectual abilities, prepared a constitution that satisfied the aspirations of every Indian, then this narrative England expanded that the Constitution of India is a borrowed bag.
Agnihotri said that the appropriate words in the Constitution can be found in the constitutions of other countries, but the spirit of our Constitution is completely Indian.
The original spirit and words of the Constitution can only be understood through the representative images of Indian civilization and culture depicted in the original copy of the Constitution.
The Law Ministry, Government of India should publish the original copy of the Constitution, so that all Indians can understand the basic spirit of the Constitution.
He said the development has two sides. First the physical aspect and second the cultural aspect. The material aspect of development is soulless, while the cultural aspect is much deeper and more permanent.
To fulfill the resolution of Developed India@2047, the cultural aspect of development will be more beneficial.
This program was organized by the Vice Chancellor of Central University, Prof. Organized under the patronage of Sat Prakash Bansal.
The Academic Dean of the program was Prof. Pradeep Kumar, Prof. Dean of Social Sciences. Sanjit Thakur, in-charge of the Ambedkar Study Center and assistant professor Dr Kismat Kumar were present along with other deans, heads of departments, professors, researchers, students and intellectuals of the society.
