Why is CM’s name not decided in Maharashtra? Get the story behind the scenes

Mahayuti alliance scores excellent victory in Maharashtra Assembly elections.

Even after the declaration of the results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections, confusion continues over the name of the post of Chief Minister. While BJP leaders may not say anything openly, Devendra Fadnavis’ name was announced by the ally himself. However, other parties involved in the Grand Alliance are reluctant to say anything openly.

Devendra Fadnavis arrived in Delhi on Monday afternoon. Where he attended a private wedding ceremony. It was speculated that after this ceremony he would meet senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, but nothing of that happened and he returned to Mumbai immediately after the wedding ceremony. In such a situation, there is an argument as to why the top leaders did not want to meet Devendra Fadnavis, is there no other political story behind this?

Why is the BJP lagging behind?

If there is a delay in deciding who will be the face of the Chief Minister, then somewhere this delay is being caused by the Bharatiya Janata Party. In fact, Eknath Shinde has been elected leader of the Shiv Sena legislative party. Ajit Pawar has also been elected legislative party leader from the NCP side, while the legislative party leader is yet to be elected by the Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs.

The reason is that no observer from Delhi has reached Maharashtra yet. Experts also say that apart from Devendra Fadnavis, the BJP is also considering a few names for the post of Chief Minister and the final name is yet to be finalised, due to which the entire process is getting delayed.

Are we waiting for Somvati Amavasya?

Political experts in Mumbai believe that if we talk about planets and constellations, then Somvati Amavasya will be on the 2nd of next month. According to popular beliefs, no auspicious work is done before Somvati Amavasya. In such a situation, it is also believed that one of the reasons is that Somvati Amavasya is on December 2nd. Only after this should the time of the swearing-in ceremony for the formation of the government be fixed. However, Shinde MLA Sanjay Shirat believes that the people of Maharashtra have shown a path towards what Rahu Ketu was there in the elections. In such a situation, all the planets and constellations are now favorable for Mahayuti.
