After the results of the Maharashtra elections, there is an agitation going on in Mahayuti regarding the face of the Chief Minister. The debate over the names of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis continues in political circles. Supporters of both leaders present their respective demands. Meanwhile, a post by Shiv Sena (Shinde) MLC Manishma Kayande has raised the political temperature.

He said in his post, “If Eknath is there, he is safe.” Now the reaction of Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule has also come to light. Bawankule said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said to unite the country: “If we are united, we are safe.” He asked to keep society united. But where things are connecting.

During elections in Maharashtra, Prime Minister Modi, while addressing public gatherings, uttered the slogan: “If we are one, we are safe.” This slogan was discussed a lot throughout the election. While the opposition accused the BJP of trying to polarize itself through slogans, the BJP gained a huge advantage in the elections thanks to the slogan. Now, using this slogan, Shiv Sena leaders are calling Eknath Shinde as the frontrunner for the CM post.

Let us tell you that the names of BJP’s Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis are in the race for CM in Maharashtra. BJP supporters want their party leader to be made CM after winning more seats. At the same time, Shiv Sena (Shinde) leader Eknath Shinde is demanding to be appointed CM again. However, the Mahayuti is yet to approve the CM’s face.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde resigned on Tuesday under constitutional obligation. This paved the way for the formation of a new government amid intense discussions within the grand alliance over who would occupy the top job: BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis or Eknath Shinde. In fact, Eknath Shinde, along with two deputy chief ministers of the previous government, Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, met Governor CP Radhakrishnan, who asked the Shiv Sena leader to continue in caretaker capacity till the swearing-in of the new Chief Minister as The The outgoing Assembly’s term ends on Tuesday (November 26).

It is worth noting that the Mahayuti alliance had an impressive performance in the recent elections, winning 230 out of 288 seats. The BJP alone won 132 seats, making Fadnavis the preferred candidate for the CM post, followed by Shiv Sena’s Shinde faction with 57 seats and Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) with 41 seats.
