The winter session of Parliament began on Monday. The NDA alliance party won the legislative elections held in two states of the country. Meanwhile, opposition parties demanded a debate on the Adani issue in Parliament. Because of this, there was a great uproar in Parliament. Debates in the lower house of Parliament were suspended after paying tributes to 18th Lok Sabha MPs Vasant Rao Chavan and Nurul Islam and some other deceased former members – MM Lawrence, M Parvati and Harish Chandra Devarao Chavan. On the other hand, Rajya Sabha proceedings have also been postponed. Opposition members created a ruckus demanding a debate on the issue of allegations against the Adani Group. Due to this, the Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned on Monday.
