The full effect of the market closure was seen at Yamuna Ghati today i.e. Friday, protesting against the lathi charge during the Jan Aakrosh rally in Uttarkashi. The deployment of police force was seen in every corner. At the same time, Sanyukta Sanatan Rakshak Sangh workers submitted a memorandum to the governor through sub-district magistrate Brijesh Kumar Tiwari regarding suspension of district magistrate and additional district magistrate and formation of a high-level state committee. In addition, he has warned that violent unrest will occur if action is not taken within 15 days.

Demand for suspension of official to the Governor

In fact, a public protest rally was held under the banner of Sanyukt Sanatan Rakshak Sangh at the Uttarkashi headquarters. Hindu organizations condemned the lathicharge that took place during this period. In addition, it has been demanded that action be taken regarding the alleged stoning by a particular community. Apart from this, Sanyukt Sanatan Rakshak Sangh has demanded the Governor to suspend Uttarkashi district magistrate Dr Meharwan Singh Visht and additional district magistrate Raza Abbas. Sanyukt Sanatan Rakshak Sangh senior leader Rakesh Uttarakhandi said the administration had been withdrawn permission to hold peaceful protests by Hindu organisations. Despite this, the district magistrate and the additional district magistrate leveled allegations against the Hindus. Everyone has condemned this action.

There is no land in the name of the mosque in Uttarkashi

Rakesh Uttarakhandi said that as per the information received under the Right to Information Act, there is no land in the name of a mosque in Uttarkashi. The district magistrate is misleading Hindus by spreading misleading news. He said that in the document found by the Public Information Officer, it is clearly written that there is no sanctioned land or free land registration in the name of the mosque in the Barahat city area. It is true that if there are lands in the names of some people, then the administration should reveal them and after forming a high-level committee, thoroughly investigate this mosque matter and get the mosque demolished.
