Today, Wednesday, work on the winter session of Parliament resumes. This is the second day of the current session. The first day of the session was marked by excitement. On the first day of Monday, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings could not proceed smoothly and had to be postponed due to uproar by MPs. However, even today the process is likely to be turbulent. There is a possibility of opposition MPs cornering the government in both Houses of Parliament over the Adani case and the riots in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. During the proceedings on the first day of the session, there was a heated debate between Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. During the parliamentary process, a total of 19 meetings of both chambers will be held. The government has prepared a list of 16 bills including the Waqf (Amendment) Bill in the current session.
