In Maharashtra there is political agitation regarding the post of Chief Minister. There is still suspense over who will be the next Chief Minister of the BJP-led grand alliance. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena has bluntly said that Eknath Shinde will not accept the post of Deputy Chief Minister.
Shiv Sena says Eknath Shinde will not accept the post of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister. Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Sirsat said the assembly elections were held in the name of Eknath Shinde. Devendra Fadnavis and senior BJP leaders also accept it. Therefore, Shinde is eligible to become Chief Minister.
He said that our demand is that priority be given to the face that has been presented. If the BJP meets our demand, then a good message will reach among the people. If Eknath Shinde becomes Chief Minister, we will benefit in the next elections. It is thanks to Shinde that Mahayuti has benefited in the elections.
When asked about Union Minister Ramdas Athawale’s statement, he said Shiv Sena has said that we do not take Athawale seriously.
