Congratulating the newly appointed employees, the Cabinet Minister inspired them to serve the society with complete passion and enthusiasm. While motivating them to make significant contributions to public welfare, the Cabinet Minister said that public service is a noble responsibility and must be carried out with complete dedication and honesty.
Many candidates appointed today at the Department of Transport enthusiastically said that they had to wait 10 to 32 years for the position, but previous governments did not take care of them. Newly appointed employee Sarabjit Singh, a resident of Nangal Fida village, Jalandhar district, said he had applied for a job in the department in the year 1992 after the death of his father Dara Singh. But due to the negligence and assurances of previous governments, they were disappointed.
Sarabjit Singh expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Agwant Singh Mann and Transport Minister Laljit Singh Ullar and said that due to the efforts of the Mann government, he got a job today after 32 years. Newly appointed employee Sukhdev Singh, 51, said his father Harcharan Singh, a resident of Mukandpur village in Jalandhar district, died while on duty in the year 2000. After this, he applied for a job on compassionate grounds. , but previous governments only let him down, so he remained a laughing stock for 24 years. He said the Mann government expedited his case and ended his years of waiting by giving him a job.
Similarly, newly appointed employees Sukhbir Singh, son of late Tarsem Singh, r/o Jaspal Nagar, Sultanwind Road (Amritsar) and Rajinder Singh, son of late Jaswant Kaur r/o Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar, Tarn Taran Road (Amritsar ), have been named after 18 years, wife of Smt. Asha, late Ashok Kumar, resident of Firozpur town and Jaswinder Singh, son of late Satpal Singh, resident of Kalka (Panchkula) after 14 years and Gagandeep Singh, son of Shri Muktsar Sahib, late resident of Ruldu Singh, got work after 13 years.
Meanwhile, taking aim at the previous governments, Transport Minister Laljit Singh Ullar said that due to the negligence of the previous SAD, AJP and Congress governments, the eligible candidates had to fight for 32 years each. He said the Mann government is working day and night to provide employment to the youth. • Muller said that as soon as he took charge of the department, he had instructed officials to expedite work-related matters. He again directed the department officials to resolve labor cases on a priority basis and on compassionate grounds. He warned that delays will not be tolerated in such cases.
