Chandigarh (Aaj Samaj)•Czech Republic Ambassador to India Dr. Eliska Jigova met Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan today. During this, both leaders emphasized on further strengthening mutual cooperation between India and the Czech Republic. In this meeting held at the Punjab Assembly Secretariat, Sandhwan emphasized on enhancing concrete cooperation between India and the Czech Republic in sectors including agriculture, industry, technology, food processing and packaging.
The Punjab Legislative Assembly Speaker said both countries can benefit from mutual exchange of knowledge and technology. Sandhwan asked Dr. Eliška Jigova to motivate Czech companies to invest in Punjab. Dr. Eliška Jigova, inviting to visit the Czech Republic, spoke about mutual relations between the Czech Republic and India and recalled the historical relations between the two countries.
He appreciated the hard-working nature of the Punjabi community. Dr. Eliška Jigova said that the Czech Republic is continuously expanding its strong bilateral cooperation with India, which will further deepen relations between the two countries.
