Yogi government is busy preparing for Mahakumbh

Mahakumbh will be celebrated in Prayagraj from January 13. For which the government has started preparations at a high level. State chief Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday also launched a project for Kumbh in Prayagraj. Under which he announced that he will donate Rs 237.38 million. This money will be spent on security, cleanliness and facilities for people who come to bathe at Mahakumbh.

The fair will be held on land of up to 4000 hectares

Yogi Adityanath announced that between January 13 and February 26, 6 big bathing programs will be organized for people coming to Kumbh. For which the fairgrounds will also be expanded. The fair area will be expanded to 4000 hectares. For the convenience of the population, 25 sectors, a large parking lot, 14 flyovers, 550 buses and bathing ghats will be built along 12 kilometers. The Chief Minister also said that we will not allow anyone to throw garbage inside the river Ganga. Around 1.5 lakh toilets will be built so that people can defecate. In addition, 67 thousand LED bulbs, 200 water units and 85 wells will be manufactured.

It will make this Mahakumbh a digital Mahakumbh.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that Prayagraj Mahakumbh will become the standard of digital Mahakumbh along with the divine and great Mahakumbh. He has said that no Indian would want to be deprived of the darshan of the pure and uninterrupted Ganges and the sacred Kumbh bath at the sacred confluence of Mother Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati. This time the Mahakumbh will create new standards with the guidance of the Prime Minister, blessings of saints and participation of common people. The Chief Minister visited Prayagraj on Wednesday and took stock of the preparations for Mahakumbh 2025. He expressed his determination to make Mahakumbh an ideal example of social equality and public participation.

Prime Minister to worship Mother Ganges

The Chief Minister said that on December 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Prayagraj and worship Mother Ganga. He called for activating Ganga cleanliness committees “from Bijnor to Ballia” to clean the Ganga. The Chief Minister indicated that public cooperation should be given priority to make the Ganga completely clean and pure.

Mahakumbh Mahatmya to be promoted globally

Reviewing the preparations for Maha Kumbh, the Chief Minister directed the officials to publicize the importance of Kumbh globally. People from each section should be associated with Mahakumbh, so that this event leaves its mark on the world stage with the aim of ‘Green Prayagraj-Green Mahakumbh’. He said that after the successful organization of the Kumbh in 2019, our expectations are even higher.

Special attention to safety and the traffic system.

The Chief Minister highlighted special plans for security and facilities for devotees. Ordering the police to adopt cooperative behaviour, he directed that concrete arrangements be made for drone surveillance, cyber security and disaster management. He said that a special action plan should be made for special bathing dates and deployment of Aapda Mitras should be ensured.

Better connectivity and cleanliness will be a priority

There is a plan to improve road, rail and air connectivity for devotees coming to Mahakumbh. The Chief Minister said that 7,000 buses will be used and clean and environment-friendly transportation will be ensured through electric buses. Instructions were also given to deploy additional manpower for cleaning, ban single-use plastic and conduct a public awareness campaign.

Experience digital and eco-friendly Mahakumbh

The Chief Minister said that devotees will also get the experience of digital Mahakumbh. Special attention is being paid to technical arrangements so that the various dimensions of Mahakumbh can be presented in digital form. Furthermore, the objective of ‘Green Mahakumbh’ will be achieved by activating Mohalla Committees in Prayagraj.

Direction for timely and quality work.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the work on time and not compromise on quality. Landfill work at Sangam Nose and construction of uprooted roads in the city were ordered to be completed on time. He said overconfidence should be avoided and the NDRF and SDRF should be kept prepared for adverse situations.

Emphasis on medical and other arrangements.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered to prepare a temporary hospital for treatment in the fair area and give priority to cleaning. He also emphasized on taking cooperation from specialized institutions to study various aspects related to Maha Kumbh. The Chief Minister said there is curiosity all over the world about Mahakumbh 2025 and it will be historic with public cooperation. He expressed satisfaction over the progress of Mahakumbh projects.
