As per the directions of district superintendent of police Varun Singla, the local police have intensified surveillance due to the growing crowd in the markets on the occasion of festivities, especially Diwali. Under the leadership of police station chief Jeet Singh, the police are collecting information on mischievous and anti-social elements who create ruckus in the market after drinking alcohol.

Apart from the people who come to the market, women and girls studying in schools have warmly welcomed this campaign led by the Babain police. Babain police station in-charge Jeet Singh says the police will strictly control anti-social elements and take strict action against such people.

He said that to ensure that no untoward incident takes place during the festival, the Babain police have launched a special drive under which vehicles are being checked and anti-social elements are kept under special vigil. On this occasion, Jeet Singh, in-charge of Babain police station, while inspecting the vehicles, also informed many drivers about the traffic rules. On this occasion, Babain Police Station In-charge Jeet Singh also extended his warmest Diwali wishes to the residents of the area.
