The family members of the fraud victim informed the police, following which the police intervened and are investigating the incident based on the CCTV cameras. Two people on bicycles reached Wajidpur locality of Jalalpur city and tricked Afifa’s wife, Abdul Rehman, a local resident, into polishing and cleaning the jewellery, after which the woman asked him to clean a chain of gold, two gold rings and earrings and other jewelry. for. Meanwhile, while cleaning the jewellery, the goon took out a tiffin box, put water and a yellow substance in it and told to heat it with gas. When the woman entered the house to heat the tiffin water, both the goons fled with the gold jewelery weighing about 20 grams. When the woman came out, she was stunned to find no people there. After searching, when she was not seen, the woman’s family reached Kotwali Jalalpur and complained to the police. The police reached the spot after receiving the information and started investigating the incident based on the CCTV footage. Kotwal Santosh Kumar Singh said an investigation is underway.
