Competition for disabled children organized by Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan

Jalalpur Ambedkar Nagar. Under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, a Tehsil level sports competition was organized for disabled children at Block Resource Center in Jalalpur on Wednesday. 50 disabled children from Bhiyanv and Jalalpur blocks participated. The children showed a lot of enthusiasm in the sports competition. Shivangi of Ramgarh Upper Primary School of Bhiyanv block dominated the sports competition. Shivangi won first place in the balloon and calligraphy competition. In the frog race, Patang of Jalalpur Block Upper Primary School, Bhitaura North, bagged first place in the boys category. Sakshi from Dhaurua Primary School of Jalalpur block won in the drawing competition. In the frog race, Saloni of Pratappur Kala, the primary school of Bhiyanv block, stood first in the girls’ category. Block education officer Meenakshi Singh awarded the winning players. The jury comprised special educators Akhilesh Kumar, Jagdish Kumar, Ravindra Nishad Tilak Dhari Pal and Rajesh Kumar. Glasses were also distributed to children with low vision in the sports competition. Block Teachers Association Treasurer Mohammad Alkama, Ravindra Verma, Mohammad Anees, Sanjay Singh, Nishat Ahmed etc. were present on the said occasion.
