Ambala News: Ambalá. Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta said that a special campaign will be carried out on the basis of Swachh Ambala theme to make Ambala district clean and beautiful. This campaign will continue exclusively from October 26 to November 15. Within the framework of this campaign, special attention will be paid to the cleanliness of neighborhoods in villages and cities.

Under this theme of Swachh Ambala, the Gram Panchayat that collects the maximum amount of plastic-based waste material at the block level will receive a grant of Rs 1 lakh for its development.

Not only this, the Gram Panchayat that collects the maximum amount of waste material in terms of capita at the block level will also receive a grant of Rs 1 lakh.

Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta addressed a meeting of officials on Friday at the deputy commissioner’s office auditorium on the issue of keeping the city clean, Ambala district clean and roads free of potholes.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta received suggestions and feedback from all SDMs, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Municipal Corporation officials regarding cleaning Ambala.

After this, with the consent of all, the theme of the special cleanliness drive to be held from November 26 to 15 was kept as Clean Ambala and under this theme, a plan was prepared to clean the city and villages of Ambala.

He said that all SDMs will initiate cleanliness drives in their respective areas, villages and city wards and will periodically visit the fields and evaluate the cleanliness drive.

Under this campaign, apart from continuing the routine cleaning campaign, we will also work to free the town and city districts from plastic waste.

All Sarpanch, Panch, Councilors and common citizens have to be included in this campaign. With everyone’s joint efforts, the Ambala Clean campaign must be successful.

On this occasion, officers of ADC Aparajita, ACUT Ravi Meena, SDM Darshan Kumar, SDM Ashwani Malik, SDM Satindra Siwach, SDM Shashwat Sangwan, DDPO Dinesh Kumar etc. were present.

The employee who performs commendable work in the field of cleaning in the municipal neighborhood will be honored.

Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta said that a special cleaning drive will be carried out in all wards of the municipal body. In this cleanup campaign, special attention will be paid to two issues. In this pavilion, the inspector or sanitary inspector will collect the maximum amount of plastic-based waste material and keep the dirty landfills clean, such an employee will be honored by the municipal body. The competition and evaluation of cleanliness of the districts in this district will be held till November 15, so all officials and employees will maintain special focus on cleanliness in all the districts of Ambala district during this period .

Students who collect large amounts of plastic waste material in schools will also be honored.
The deputy commissioner said that the participation of the young generation is also very important in the campaign to clean Ambala, so a resolution has been taken to involve students in this campaign.

A special competition on cleanliness will be organized in each school of this district. According to this scheme, the student who collects the most plastic waste in school will be honored by the school administration. This contest will also be organized at block and district level. The student who collects the most plastic-based waste material in the block and district will be honored.

These students will also be given a digital watch as a sign of respect.

Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta said that strict orders have been given to the officials of Public Works Department, Marketing Board, District Council and municipal bodies that by November 13, all departments in Ambala will have to complete the patching work on their respective subordinate roads. All officers will take this matter seriously and ensure that the patch work is completed within the stipulated time period. If the work is not completed within the stipulated time, action will be taken against the concerned department official as per rules.
