Police commissioner Lakshmi Singh has taken action in case beef was found in the Dadri police station area in Noida. He has suspended Dadri police station in-charge Sujit Upadhyay. Furthermore, ACP Amit Pratap has been made operational. It is alleged that he did not follow the instructions received from the DGP Headquarters and the Police Station. Currently, the responsibility of investigating the matter has fallen to ADCP Traffic.
It may be noted that an incident involving transportation of banned animal meat in a container in the Dadri police station area recently came to light, creating a stir. Several tons of prohibited meat were seized in a cold room. On which local BJP MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar had demanded action. After which now Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh has taken strict action. Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner made it clear that such kind of illegal trade and crimes will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Giving information, the media cell of the Police Station said that the in-charge of Dadri police station, Sujit Upadhyay, has been suspended for being declared irregular in violation of the instructions and orders given continuously by the DGP headquarters and the police commissioner. Along with this, ACP Dadri Amit Pratap Singh is in play. While instructions are given for continuous servicing and checking on the highway, instructions have also been given to form a joint team and check all the cold storage rooms in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
At the same time, Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh gave strict instructions and said that such businesses, crimes and transportation will not be tolerated in Gautam Buddha Nagar Police. Strict and continuous measures will be taken in this regard. From this point of view, strict instructions have been given to all police officers, constables and in-charges of police stations in the district.
Traffic jam due to trade fair, DCP traffic line present
On the other hand, CPHI and PMEC 2024 are being organized at Expo Mart located in Greater Noida. Due to this international fair, there is a traffic jam from the highway to Expo Mart. Due to negligence in traffic management at the fair, Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh has put DCP Traffic on the line with immediate effect. On the instructions of the police commissioner, DCP Traffic Yamuna Prasad has been posted on the police lines. Lakhan Singh Yadav, posted on the police line, has been appointed as DCP Traffic.
Along with this, ACP Sanjeev Kumar Bishnoi has been posted as Reserve Police Lines Traffic ACP. Meanwhile, ACP 1 Greater Noida Pawan Kumar, traffic inspector Prafulla Srivastava and police station in-charge Knowledge Park have been awarded misconduct.
