Delhi School Nursery Admission: Admission process starts in schools from today, complete schedule is as follows

Academic session 2025-2026 will begin

Admission to Delhi School Nursery (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi: Starting today, families in the capital have once again been in a hurry to welcome their children. Application forms for admission to nursery, KG and first grade will begin to be received in more than 1,700 schools. Furthermore, the last date for submitting the form will be December 20. Let us tell you that only 75 per cent of the total seats in Delhi schools will be applied for this time. The remaining 25 per cent seats will be reserved for the economically weaker categories and other categories.

Because of this, parents will start working hard to get their children admitted to a good and favorite school. The first list of selected students will be published on January 17, 2025. At the same time, the list of students included in the waiting list will also be announced. After this, the second list will be published on February 3. The admission process will end on March 14, 2025.

You must meet these criteria.

For admission to schools, applications will be accepted only according to the age limit set by the Directorate of Education. Along with this, parents will also have to submit some of their documents in the children’s form. The Directorate of Education has set this age limit for children.

Nursery: over three years old and under four years old (until March 31, 2025)
KG – More than four years and less than five years (until March 31, 2025)
Class I – Must be more than five years old and less than six years old (as of March 31, 2025). Along with this, parents’ ration card, voter ID, residence certificate, Aadhar card, etc. will also be required.
