Ruckus in hospital when police stopped farmer leaders from meeting
Punjab (Aaj Samaj) News Update, Ludhiana: A hunger strike and demonstration by farmer leaders is taking place at the Khanauri border regarding the demands of the farmers. After the arrest of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal by the police, while tension continues among farmers at the Khanauri border, the number of farmers has also started increasing at the Shambhu border. Dallewal remains admitted to the Ludhiana DMC hospital under police guard.
The peasant leader’s health is said to be good but his sugar level has decreased. The police are not allowing anyone to meet Dallewal. So there is anger among farmers. Meanwhile, farmers who came to meet farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal created a ruckus at Ludhiana DMC. The police prevented him from meeting Dallewal. This angered the farmers and caused an uproar.

Police arrested peasant leaders
After this, to calm the atmosphere, the police have arrested two leaders. He took them with him to the police station. At the same time, many farmers are trapped in DMC. He is adamant about meeting the peasant leader Dallewal. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher, angered by the police action, said all roads leading to the Khannauri border will be blocked by installing tractor-trolleys. There will be guards day and night.
This is the second entry of Kisan Andolan 2.0, which will be sacrificed to make it completely successful. Arrangements for the farmers were not yet complete, so Dallewal was taken away. This won’t happen now. He also said that on behalf of the Centre, Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu has made it clear that he has no involvement in this matter. Now Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann should clarify his stand.
Sukhjit Singh Hardojhanda fasted until death
Jagjit Singh Dallewal was to begin fasting unto death on Tuesday. But after being arrested, peasant leader Sukhjit Singh Hardojhanda fasted to death. Thousands of men and women reached the Khanauri border and also held a march against the government. The peasant organizations have given a 10-day ultimatum to the central government; if their demands are not met, they will intensify the movement. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said if the government does not take any decision, farmers will march in groups to the Shambhu border on December 6.
