After Mahayuti leaders Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar gave a befitting reply to the opposition parties in a press conference. Ajit Pawar held a press conference in Delhi and said that the allegations being made by the opposition parties regarding EVMs. There is no substance in them. After the results of the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections were announced, accusations of EVM manipulation were leveled by opposition parties. Congress and Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leaders said Mahayuti cannot get so many seats. The elections have not been carried out fairly.
The three parties involved in the grand alliance in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections are the largest parties. A maximum of 132 seats have gone to the BJP’s account. Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) won 57 seats and NCP (Ajit Pawar) won 41 seats. The Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance of opposition parties was reduced to a total of 49 seats, while Mahayuti won 235 seats. Since then, opposition leaders have been alleging fraud in the elections.
