Ayodhya. The Purvanchal Development Board meeting was held at the Commissioner’s Auditorium under the chairmanship of board vice-president Narendra Singh. In the meeting, the vice-president of the board gave directions to prepare a proposal for four laning of Ayodhya-Gonda highway, Gonda-Bahraich highway and Siddharthnagar to Bahraich highway for the development of Purvanchal region. He directed to complete the work of ambitious Ayodhya bypass project within the stipulated time and work on roads in all districts of Purvanchal and also to resolve the issues of basic education, secondary education, tourism, forest department and stray animals. He said that the state government is in charge of the overall development of Ayodhya Dham and along with this, rural Ayodhya will also be developed. For this, better planning should be done and the rural areas of Ayodhya should also be developed. He directed to forward the suggestions given by the honorable members during the meeting to the government level and tasked the district administration to take priority action in the areas where problems were reported in the board.

At the beginning of the meeting, divisional commissioner Gaurav Dayal and other officials welcomed him by giving him bouquets. While addressing the meeting, Eastern Board Secretariat Regional Planning Division Director VK Aggarwal said that the board was formed for comprehensive development of 8 divisions and 28 districts of Purvanchal.

During the meeting, following the instructions given by the vice-chairman of the board, vice-chairman of Ayodhya Development Authority Ashwini Pandey, municipal commissioner Santosh Kumar Sharma and all development directors of the division discussed the points and cooperation that must be held by the district development meeting. Everyone was ordered to prepare a proposal and present it to the board, so that development could be accelerated.

In the meeting, board members Jaiprakash Nishad, Vijayshankar Yadav, Pardeshi Ravidas, Buddhist Arvind Singh Patel, Jitendra Pandey, Vijay Vikram Singh, Rajkumar Shahi, Om Prakash Goyal, Ashok Chaudhary and Dr KP Srivastava gave their related suggestions with Purvanchal Development Board. Joint Development Commissioner, Development Directors, Medical Director, Deputy Director Economics and Statistics, Deputy Director Tourism, Deputy Director Fisheries, Additional Director Education, Additional Director Health, Deputy Panchayat Director, District Basic Education Officer and District School. The inspector and the district information officer were present at the meeting.
