Adani Power scores 67 out of 100 and ranks in the top 80 percent of global energy utilities in S&P Global CSA Score

Ahmedabad : Adani Power Limited, part of Adani Portfolio Companies, has achieved an exceptional score of 67 (out of 100) in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) conducted by global rating agency S&P Global. Fiscal year 2023-24. This compares to the regional average of 42 and APL’s own score of 48 for FY23.

With this score, Adani Power is in the top 80 percent of all energy utilities globally. In many elements of the CSA score, such as human rights, transparency and reporting, water, waste and pollution, it is in the top 100 percent. In three more (energy, health and safety at work and community relations) it is in the 90 percent or more category.

The S&P Global CSA Score is the S&P Global ESG Score, a measure of a company’s performance and management of material ESG risks, opportunities and impacts, informed by a combination of its disclosure, media and stakeholder analysis, without any modeling approach. APL’s S&P Global ESG score is also 67.

This notable achievement underscores APL’s strong commitment to sustainable practices and dedication to incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into its operations.
