Jaipur: Politics have heated up over a lawsuit demanding a Shiva temple inside the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Opposition party leaders are targeting the BJP and the RSS. Reacting to the Ajmer Sharif controversy, former Rajasthan Chief Minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot said spreading unrest where there is peace will not lead to development.
Ashok Gehlot targeted BJP
Former CM Ashok Gehlot said that a law was passed in the House providing for the places of worship of different religions which were built till August 15, 1947. No questions will be asked. Since the BJP-RSS government was formed, some people are doing politics in the name of religion. All these people are winning elections by polarizing. Gehlot said it is the responsibility of the ruling government to support the opposition and respect their views. But these people are not doing this.
PM Modi also offers chadar: Gehlot
The Congress leader said the RSS should launch a campaign to eliminate discrimination in the country. People from all over the country come to Ajmer Dargah to offer prayers. Even all the prime ministers of the country, including Prime Minister Modi, used to offer chadar at Ajmer Dargah. People from all over the country and abroad come here to offer chadar. Are people associated with the BJP spreading confusion by going to court? Creating unrest where there is peace will not lead to development.
