The body of the manager of a famous club in Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh, was found in a well located on the club premises on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Kumar Vyas, 72, director of Jiwaji Club, a police officer said. Police removed the body from the well and sent it to the regional hospital for autopsy.
CCTV sees the manager entering the club
Santosh Vaghela, Kotwali police station in-charge, said: “Vyas had gone to the club on Wednesday but did not return home in the evening. When his family members could not contact him this morning, they questioned the club staff.” Vaghela said a search was launched and staff examined CCTV footage, in which he was seen entering the club but not leaving, and eventually found his body in a well located on the club premises.
He said that after receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy. Vaghela said the circumstances of Vyas’ death were still unclear and were being investigated.
