Hemant Soren has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand for the fourth time and has started working as soon as he took over as CM. He took oath as CM at 4 pm on Thursday and then announced that starting December, Rs 2,500 will be deposited every month in the bank account of each beneficiary of the Mainiyan Samman Yojana. Currently, the government is providing financial assistance of Rs 1,000 to women between the ages of 18 and 50 under this scheme. The plan began in August of this year.
