At present there are a total of 136 Vande Bharat trains.
Giving information, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that a total of 136 Vande Bharat trains are currently running on the Indian Railway network, which were operational till November 21. These trains have superior safety and modern amenities like automatic train protection system ‘Kavach’, high speed, fully sealed gangways, automatic doors, comfortable seats, mini pantries, bottle coolers, freezers and water heaters.
These trains also on the Delhi-Kathgodam route.
The minister said while answering questions from several MPs regarding these trains, he said that Vande Bharat trains run on other important routes including Maharashtra. Apart from this, these trains also operate on the Delhi-Kathgodam route.
Even better travel experience
Regarding speed, the Minister also clarified that the speed of these trains has been maintained up to the maximum speed allowed on the route, and there is no proposal to reduce the speed, to make the travel experience even better.
