Gonda: A surprising case has come to light in the district that has even confused the police. In fact, there was an uproar after two bodies were found in Kotwali Nagar area of Gonda district headquarters. One of these young people was stabbed to death, while the body of his friend was found dismembered on the train tracks. Relatives say that the young man who died after being hit by the train had called his friend at night. The police are currently investigating all aspects.

Giving information about the case, SP Vineet Jaiswal said information was received about the dead body of a youth behind the medical college on Friday morning. After this, the police team reached the spot. Police collected evidence at the scene and then sent the body for autopsy. SP Vineet Jaiswal said the deceased was identified as Vijay Pandey (22), a resident of Parade Sarkar. The initial investigation found marks of a knife attack on the body.

The relatives of the young man stabbed to death said that around 3 a.m. on Friday, Vijay received a call on his cell phone, after which he went out. Afterwards he never returned. The police quoted the family members as saying that they had received a call on Vijay’s mobile from his friend Deepak Pandey, following which Vijay left the house after telling his relatives.
The body of the friend who called was also found.
SP said that after some time, information was received about a youth who was hit by a train at Chhitnapur railway gate on Gonda-Lucknow railway route in Katra Bazaar police station area. After receiving the information, the police team reached the spot, after which the deceased was identified as Deepak Pandey (24). He said Vijay’s motorcycle was recovered a short distance from the railway gate. After this, Deepak’s body was also sent for an autopsy. SP said the incident is being investigated. (entrance-agency)
