The death of two youths caused a sensation in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. The body of Vijay Pandey, 22, was found stabbed with knives in the roadside bushes, about 300 meters from Parade Sarkar village. Vijay was called by his village friend Deepak Pandey around 2:45 pm. Police were investigating when Deepak’s body was found mutilated on the railway track at Chhitnapur railway junction in Katra police station area. This incident has created a stir in the entire town.
Vijay Pandey is said to have received a call from his friend Deepak in the evening, following which he left home on his motorcycle. In the morning, the villagers saw his dead body on the roadside. Ram Kumar Pandey, father of the deceased, said Vijay was the driver of Sumit Bhushan, nephew of former MP Brij Bhushan Singh, for four years. There were many knife marks on Vijay’s body and the family members started crying after seeing his blood-stained clothes.

Soon after the incident, news came that Deepak, who had called Vijay, was also found dead. The police investigation has become even more intriguing after his body was found on the train tracks. According to local traders, Deepak was seen traveling alone on Vijay’s motorcycle near the railway crossing. Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal said that five teams have been deployed to investigate the incident and investigations are being carried out from all aspects.
The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
Police sent both bodies for autopsy and started investigating the case. Ram Kumar Pandey, father of deceased Vijay, said we want justice, whoever committed this act should be given strict punishment.
