Actually, by-elections would be held for 10 UP seats including Karhal from Mainpuri, Sisamau from Kanpur, Phulpur from Prayagraj, Katehri from Ambedkar Nagar, Majhwan from Mirzapur, Milkipur from Ayodhya, Ghaziabad Sadar, Khair from Aligarh, Meerapur of Muzaffarnagar and Kundarki headquarters of Moradabad. However, by-elections have only been called for 9 seats. No date has been announced for the Milkipur seat.
