Lucknow. Varanasi court rejects Hindu side's plea for further ASI survey in Gyanvapi complex. Hindu side's lawyer Vijay Shankar Rastogi said the court rejected our request for further study by ASI for conservation of the entire Gyanvapi area. We will go to the High Court against this decision within 30 days. He said this decision goes against the rules and facts. This aggravates me and I will challenge it in the high court.
Rastogi claimed that as per the order dated 8.4.2021, the NDA had to appoint a five-member committee for the survey, in which one person would be an expert from the minority community and another from a central university. All of them had to carry out rigorous surveys. The above survey was conducted via RSS only. He said the High Court had confirmed that the survey did not comply with that order (8.4.2021). We will go to the High Court urgently.
Hindu side's lawyer Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi said the civil court rejected it and the order also came. We will go to the district court to review this order. An intensive study of almost all areas has been completed, but reconnaissance is still pending in some places where the machines could not reach. Therefore, an additional survey was required. We will go to civil court and we will be successful. There will be a survey… We will ensure that every inch of the temple complex is inspected. He clearly said that this is not a surprise… We have already presented all the evidence… There is the District Court, the High Court, all avenues are still open.
