Solapur City Central remains very important in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections. While the names will be shortlisted on the 30th. The last date to withdraw the nomination is November 4. Voting will take place on November 20 and results will be declared on November 23. Voting must be completed by November 25.

Electoral history of Solapur City Central

Although the Congress candidate has won this seat three times in a row, before this this seat has been a BJP stronghold. Since 1978, the BJP candidate has won here five times and the Congress candidate four times. Girish Bapat became MLA from here in 1995, 199 and 2004. However, since then Congress has taken control here and Pranik Sushil Kumar Shinde is continuously becoming the MLA. Now the BJP will try to raise the flag in this seat once again. At the same time, Congress is in for a surprise.
