Police arrested the gang involved in kidnapping and robbery.
Bissau police station in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district arrested six people from a gang involved in kidnapping and robbery. Of the six arrested accused, two are Meerut police officers and one is a lawyer by profession, who were running this gang. The accused used to carry out incidents of robbery and kidnapping by posing as officers of SOG team of UP Police. The accused police officers have been identified as constable Rinku Singh Gurjar posted at Meerut police lines and head constable Amit Khatana posted at Bhawanpur police station.
Rajasthan Bissau Police Station arrested six persons who committed kidnapping and robbery at Gangiyasar intersection. The arrested defendants ran a gang in which they kidnapped and looted people. Two UP Police officers are also among the six arrested accused. These two agents are said to have primarily led the gang. The accused, posing as agents of the SOG team, were trying to kidnap four people, including a couple who were selling clothes. Meanwhile, the police nabbed all the accused.
Kidnapped from a bus on the highway
The arrested accused were identified as Rinku Singh Gurjar (32) resident of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Meenu Rani (27) resident of Vijay Nagar Ghaziabad, Anuj Nagar (28) resident of Delhi, Amit Kumar Khatana (38) resident of Qutubsher Saharanpur , Munkad. (55) resident of Hasanpur Hapur and lawyer Akash Sharma (28) resident of Meerut Kankarkheda have been identified. The police came to know about the existence of the gang when the accused kidnapped five people, including Jakhiya, a resident of Bulandshahr, from a bus going from Churu to Jhunjhunu.

Police recovered weapons and handcuffs
After the kidnapping, a person traveling on the bus informed the police about the incident. As soon as the incident came to light, the police hatched a plan to nab the accused and then blocked the Gangiyasar intersection and arrested the six accused. At the same time, the police have recovered one pistol, two pistols and a holster from the arrested accused. SSP Dr Vipin Tada, taking action on the entire matter, suspended both the accused police officers. Furthermore, the SSP also ordered a departmental investigation against both police officers.
