During this period, about 3,000 kg of sweets were seized. Police say the factory owner has absconded. Some people who work there are being detained and questioned. The police and the food department team seized the factory and seized all the goods recovered from there.
According to information, Gursahaiganj Kotwali police received information that a sweet factory is functioning in Sarai Prayag Tada village of Kotwali area, where fake sweets are manufactured. On receiving the information, Chhibramau SDM Umakant Tiwari and a joint team of police and food inspector of Gursahaiganj police station conducted a raid. During this time the owner of the factory fled.

The team investigated the factory and examined the material used to make candy there. After this, the fertilizer department team took samples of everything and confiscated around 30 quintals of prepared sweets. The packets of rava, refined and starch that were being used were taken into their possession. The police detained the people present and began questioning them.
In this case, CO Kamlesh Kumar said Gursahaiganj police had received information about manufacturing of fake sweets. It was raided by a joint team of SDM Chhibramau and the Food Department as well as the police. During this time the factory has been sealed. The owner of the factory has fled. Some people have been arrested from there. The food inspector said that around 30 quintals of prepared sweets have been seized. All objects recovered there have been taken into custody. Further action is being taken following the investigation.
