What is the exam pattern?
- There are two papers in this exam (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Test 1 is conducted for classes 1 to 5. While test 2 is conducted for classes 6 to 8.
- Both Test 1 and Test 2 have a score of 150 and 150 points respectively.
- Both document 1 and document 2 contain 150 and 150 frequently asked questions (FAQs) respectively.
- Test 1 consists of five topics. These include Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language 1, Language 2.
- Test 2 also has five topics. These include Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Science/Social Studies and Social Studies, Language 1, Languages 2.
- In Document 2, options are given for Social Studies and Science and Mathematics.
The CTET 2024 exam, which was originally scheduled for December 15, has been rescheduled to December 14. However, the board announced that if the number of candidates is more in a particular city, the exam can also be held on December 15. The exam will be carried out in two shifts: morning shift from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and afternoon shift from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidates are advised to stay tuned to the official website for the latest information.
