IND vs AUS: A big update has emerged between the India-New Zealand series. The Indian team will play the second Test match against New Zealand in Pune from October 24. The third and final Test match of the series will be played at the historic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from November 1. After this, team India will leave for the tour of Australia. On this tour, a test series of 5 matches will be played between the two teams. After a long time, both the teams will play 5 test matches in this series played under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In such a situation, both teams are preparing vigorously for this series.

Meanwhile, a big update has emerged regarding the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. There are reports that the Indian team for this tour will be announced soon. There is a possibility that the selectors will announce the Indian team for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on October 28. It is not yet clear who will be part of the Indian team for this tour. The question also arises whether Cheteshwar Pujara, who has been out of the Indian team for a long time, will be able to return to the team. Recently, while playing for Saurashtra in the Ranji Trophy, Pujara played 234 innings in 383 balls against Chhattisgarh. Since then, Pujara’s name is everywhere.

Great record in Australia

Cheteshwar Pujara performed brilliantly in the last two tours of Australia and played an important role in the series win. In such a situation, Ajit Agarkar and his team can consider Pujara’s name considering his experience. Pujara, 36, was the leading run-scorer in the 2018-19 series with 521 runs. Three years later, again on the tour of Australia, he impressed with the bat and scored 271 runs.

Pujara has not played a Test match for India since the World Test Championship final in June last year. However, his hunger to score runs is yet to be satiated. This is the reason why he continuously plays domestic cricket and contributes with the bat. Pujara has spent a lot of time in England county cricket this year, which benefits him in the Ranji Trophy.
