Bengaluru: Police from the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested two accused of blackmailing a former minister and demanding money. It's about a woman and her husband. According to information, Manjula Patil, president of the Kalaburagi unit of the fan club called Nalpad Brigade, and her husband Shivraj Patil were arrested. The CCB police had registered the case based on the complaint of the former minister's son. In this sequence, a trap was laid near MG Road in Bengaluru today. When Manjula came with her husband to collect the money, the police arrested her along with her husband.

We tell you that a few days ago Manjula Patil had a telephone conversation with the former minister. After this, conversations between the two began through phone calls and video calls. Later, accused Manjula Patil and her husband Shivraj Patil started blackmailing the former minister. Both of them told the former minister that if he did not give them Rs 20 lakh, they would make the video of the video call recording go viral. In addition, three days ago he also met with the former minister's son. He told the former minister's son: “Your father has sent derogatory messages.”

After getting information about the matter, the former minister's son immediately lodged a complaint in this regard with the CCB police. After receiving the complaint, the CCB police began investigating the case. In this sequence, the police laid a trap today near MG Road in Bengaluru. When Manjula Patil came with her husband Shivraj Patil to collect the money, the police arrested them both. DCP Srinivas Gowda said the CCB police registered a case and arrested the accused couple, who had come to collect money near Garuda Mall on MG Road, Bengaluru.
