In this context, Dr Devendra Sheoran, Economist, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Haryana Panchkula Headquarters, conducted a surprise inspection of the crop harvesting experiments being carried out in Charkhi Dadri district.
Apart from Badhra, the Agriculture Department team visited the fields in villages like Lamba, Malkosh, Chidiya, Atela, etc. of Dadri region and inspected the harvesting experiments and only then threshed the rice crop and estimated the average yield.

In this regard, the necessary guidelines were also given to the officials and employees present at the site and they said that the import and export of cereals from the state and the country depends on these figures. Apart from this, if there is damage to the crops due to any disease, drought, frost or fungus etc., compensation for the insured crops is provided to the farmers of the concerned village on the basis of the average yield calculated on the basis of crop harvesting experiments.

Therefore, it is very important that all crop harvesting experiments are carried out as per the Prime Minister's Crop Insurance guidelines. Apart from this, Dr. Devendra also gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials and employees about not burning rice crop residue and farmers should also be made aware about not burning stubble as much as possible.
