In Uttar Pradesh, the custodial death case of Mohit Pandey in Lucknow's Chinhat Kotwali has started gaining momentum. Mohit's relatives started protesting by blocking the road. The family members demand an FIR against Chinhat Kotwal and other accused. On the other hand, the Samajwadi Party has also opened a front against the Uttar Pradesh government. SP has directly held Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath responsible for this incident. According to information, Mohit Pandey and his brother Shobharam Pandey were arrested by the Chinhat Kotwali police on Friday night in an assault case. Police say Mohit Pandey's health deteriorated while he was in custody. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Allegation of torture in prison
On the other hand, his brother Shobharam, who was detained with Mohit, said that Mohit was severely tortured in police custody. Even when Mohit asked for water, no one gave it to him. In this way his brother died in agony before his very eyes. Here, as soon as the news of Mohit's death reached the family, a large number of people reached the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. The relatives demanded to call the Kotwal there.
FIR complaint against Kotwal
Seeing the growing commotion, the police also tried to push and shove people out of the hospital. After this, the relatives went on strike blocking the road outside the hospital. The family members are now demanding an FIR against Chinhat Kotwal and other police officers. Here, because they were sitting on the road, there is a traffic jam on the road from Pick Up Tiraha to Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. However, the police present at the scene try to convince them.

Mohit's brother Shobharam said there was a fight on Friday. After this, the Doyle 112 vehicle arrived and arrived at the police station with both brothers. There his brother was brutally tortured. His brother's health deteriorated due to the severe beating. During this time his brother asked for water repeatedly, but the police did not give him a single drop of water. During this time his brother died. There he was presented before the court.
The uncle of deceased Mohit Pandey clearly says that Mohit was beaten mercilessly by the police, due to which Mohit died.
There have been many deaths in BJP/Yogiraj due to police brutality/extortion for which CM Yogi is responsible.

Due to this death has occurred. The party has alleged that many deaths have occurred due to police brutality/extortion under the BJP/Yogiraj. CM Yogi is responsible for all these deaths. According to the party, CM Yogi has created a police force that commits vandalism, intimidation and crimes.
