Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday awarded scholarships to students studying Sanskrit in Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi Adityanath launched the Sanskrit Scholarship Program at a program organized at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi. On this occasion, CM Yogi Adityanath made many important announcements for the students studying Sanskrit. To also increase facilities in Sanskrit schools, the CM announced that he will promote the study of Sanskrit by providing grants. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday awarded scholarships worth Rs 586 lakh to 6,919 students studying Sanskrit. With a click from CM Yogi, money was transferred to the students’ bank accounts through digital medium.

Addressing the Chief Minister while formally inaugurating the scholarship scheme for Sanskrit students of all Sanskrit schools, colleges and universities of Sampurnan and Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit University from the capital of learning, Kashi, on Sunday, accused the Samajwadi Party and the Congress government for neglecting the Sanskrit Language. The Chief Minister said in his speech that today’s program is very important for Sanskrit and Indian culture. The Sanskrit language was described as the voice of the energy of Indian culture. Every person should be happy with this energy. There should be a provision of scholarships for the poor and deprived children, but one cannot understand why the Sanskrit language was neglected. So far, only 300 Sanskrit students have been awarded scholarships.
The Chief Minister announced that he would soon take steps for recruitment of staff for vacant Sanskrit posts.
The Chief Minister asked that arrangements be made soon for recruitment of vacant posts in Sanskrit schools and colleges and till then he also laid special emphasis on making arrangements for teachers as an alternative arrangement. So that the children’s educational system continues without problems. He laid special emphasis on advancing Sanskrit also from the point of view of scientific language. The Chief Minister said that the ancient culture of Sampurnan and Sanskrit University will be promoted. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Indian civilization and culture have emerged, which will be given their due time in Sanskrit.
