Three candidates, including the SP and the BSP, filed their candidatures

Ambedkar Nagar. Samajwadi Party candidate Ms Shobhavati Verma filed her nomination papers in two sets on Tuesday, the fourth day of the nomination process for the Katehari Assembly by-election.

Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Amit Verma filed his nomination papers in two sets. While nomination papers were received in one set by Ramnaresh Party candidate Prajapati Bhagidari (P0) and nomination papers were received in four sets by Rajesh Kumar Azad Samaj Party candidate. He said they have so far received 21 sets of nomination papers from a total of ten candidates. On Tuesday, three candidates filed nomination papers in five sets.
