Ghazipur: madrasah teacher protesting against principal

A teacher posted at a madrasa located in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, gave 15 marks to students in a 10-mark question. After getting the information, the headmaster of the madrassa issued a show cause notice and the rest of the teachers went on strike at the madrassa. Now all these teachers have gone on strike to put pressure on the headmaster of the madrasa. Their protest continues at the doors of the Madrassah. The teachers allege that the management is deliberately attacking them and that the work is done by creating pressure. Threats are made for refusing.

The matter pertains to Madrasa Madrasatul Masakin located in Bahadurganj, Ghazipur. In this strike initiated against the principal, the teachers who were striking against principal Ziaur Rehman submitted a written complaint to the district Minority Welfare Officer. The principal is said to have deliberately targeted teachers. Their annual salary increase is even withheld and they are threatened with suspension. Let us tell you that this issue has been going on for a long time.

The controversy is already underway

Recently, Deputy Director of Varanasi Minority Welfare Department and District Minority Welfare Officer arrived here to investigate the complaint related to Madrasa. In this, some teachers had given statements that many teachers do not reach the madrasa on time. Only after this, a notice was sent to the madrasa’s management professor, Faizur Rehman, and he was warned of the suspension.

The director gave this reason.

Since then the teachers have opened a front against the management. On dharna, the teachers of the Madrasa sit at the door and raise their voices for the solution of their problems. On the other hand, Madrasa education director Ziaur Rahman said some teachers are pretending to organize a protest to hide their actions. This information has been delivered to the officials of the Department of Minorities.
