An accident occurred when a car fell into a ditch on the Barot-Ghatadani link road in Himachal Pradesh. Five people lost their lives in this accident, including a minor. The police reported the incident. According to police, the accident occurred around 10pm on Saturday night. All the people who lost their lives in the accident were returning from a wedding ceremony. The district administration has announced that it will provide aid to the families of the deceased.

According to information, an accident occurred on the Barot-Ghatadani link road in which five people lost their lives. Police said the deceased have been identified as Ganga Singh, Sagar, Karam Singh, Gulab Singh and Rajesh Kumar. All of these people were returning from a late night wedding ceremony. The deceased were identified as residents of Padhar tehsil of Mandi district.

The car fell into a deep ditch

According to police, the accident occurred on the Barot-Ghatadani link road around 10 pm on Saturday night. All the people who lost their lives in the accident were returning home after a wedding ceremony. The vehicle lost control and fell into a deep ditch. Locals informed the police about the accident on Sunday morning. After information, the police reached the spot and sent the bodies for autopsy.

Giving information about the accident, Superintendent of Police Sakshi Verma said that a case has been registered under sections 106 and 281 of the Indian Justice Code. Police are investigating to gather more information about the accident.

CM Sukhu expressed his pain

State CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu expressed grief over the death of five people in the accident. The CM directed the officials concerned to provide all possible assistance to the victim’s family. The district administration has announced that it will provide Rs 25,000 each as immediate relief to the families of the deceased.
