The results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on August 10. This information was confirmed on Monday, July 27, by the Secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Md. Abdul Khalek.

The results were initially scheduled to be released on July 20, but this was postponed due to a lack of preparations. On July 18, Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board and Chairman of the Dhaka Board of Education, stated that it would not be possible to publish the results on the originally planned date. However, he mentioned that preparations were underway to release them in July.

Previously, at a press conference held at the Secretariat on June 8, the Minister of Education, ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon, stated that the necessary instructions had been given to the relevant authorities to publish the results of the SSC and equivalent exams on July 20.

This year’s SSC and equivalent exams began on April 21, and the written portion concluded on May 20. The practical portion was administered afterward.

This year, more than 1,857,000 candidates participated in the SSC exam under the nine general education boards, the Dakhil exam under the Madrasa Education Board, and the SSC and Dakhil (vocational) exams under the Technical Education Board.
