Delhi Pollution News: People of Delhi breathe poisonous air and ICA is in very bad condition.

Delhi and NCR included among top five most polluted air cities in country

Delhi Pollution News (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi: Before the arrival of winter, the country’s capital, Delhi, has once again become a gas chamber. Like every year, this time too the air quality index (AQI) continually advances towards dangerous levels. On Sunday, Delhi AQI was recorded as very poor at 356. Which is worrying. On the other hand, meteorological experts say that even worse conditions are possible in the coming days. So people living in Delhi and NCR cities will have to face problems.

Status of other cities in NCR

Ghaziabad was the second most polluted city after Delhi where the AQI reached 324. Greater Noida ranked third in the country with an AQI of 312 and Noida ranked fifth with 304. Among other cities in NCR, the AQI in Gurugram it was 239, while in Faridabad it was 208. Which is worrying in itself.

Pollution level will increase on Diwali

Meteorological experts say that in the coming days there will be many festivals. These include Diwali, the biggest festival celebrated in the country. Due to fireworks on Diwali, dangerous gases will be released into the atmosphere and air conditions will worsen further. Due to which AQI can cross 500. Although the government has completely banned the use of fireworks and their burning on Diwali, but increasingly people ignore the rules of the government and burn many fireworks, thereby polluting the environment.

Stubble burning in neighboring states is also a reason

The main reason for pollution in the capital Delhi and NCR is the abundance of traffic and industries here. Another reason is the burning of rice residue in neighboring states. According to Decision Sport System (DSS), the proportion of pollution caused by vehicle smoke in the air on Sunday was 13.028 percent, while the proportion of pollution caused by burning garbage was 1.208 percent. On Saturday the proportion of stubble smoke in the pollution was 5.5023 percent. From which one can estimate in what dangerous conditions the people of the capital breathe. Which will be even more dangerous in the coming days.
