While four boys ran away from home to Punjab to learn dancing to make Instagram reels, the police caught them in Kanpur before going to Punjab and interrogated them. The four children had left their house saying they were going to get money from the bank.

In fact, today the hobby of making Instagram reels on social networks has put four families in trouble. According to police, the five children are about 15 years old. One had left the house saying that he would withdraw the scholarship from the bank, of which one returned home but the other four did not return until the evening.

The family members launched an investigation and informed the police about the matter. Upon receiving the information, the District SP activated the Control Room, GRP, Child Care Line and surveillance and police station teams.

With the help of CCTV footage, the police learned that the children had headed towards Kanpur. The police tracked down and recovered the four from the Punjab-bound train from Kanpur railway station. The recovered children told shocking things during police interrogation. The children said that we were all going to learn Punjabi dance to make an instra reel.

The police called the relatives, explained the matter to them and handed them over. Among the recovered children are three girls and one boy. The police informed them about Mission Shakti and asked them to inform the police in case of any problem.

ASP Shivraj said that many children had come to Babaru police station area from their homes to withdraw money from the bank, of whom 4 did not reach home. On receiving the information, half a dozen teams were activated immediately, after which they were recovered from Kanpur Central during the night. The children have been recovered and returned to their families. The children said they were going to learn Punjabi dance to make a reel and were given full counselling. Children will now focus on studies instead of dancing.
